Magnus "Max" Labrador Retriever Young - Adoption, Rescue for sale in East Windsor, Connecticut

Meet Magnus "Max" for short.

He is a sweetheart of a boy, gentle and very mellow. He

He loves to be next to his people following them around where ever they go - Max we are not exactly sure of his breed - but we do know he is just a love.

He is a year old but you wouldn't know if he is a very laid back boy.

Poor Max has been bounced around looking for his forever home for the first year of his life. Little Max was dumped as a young puppy full of fleas and only 10 lbs - A great rescue in TX took him in had him vetted and rid him of all his fleas. He then went to a foster home full of kids, cats and dogs.

The foster family wanted to adopt him but thought he deserved a better home where he could get more attention. So Max was sent to another foster home and finally adopted in TX. We thought that would be the start of Max's happy ever after, but his new adopters would leave him out while they went to work,

and he was picked up roaming

twice -

since his original rescue was the contact on his microchip they were contacted both times

. Finally they discussed his situation with the adopters and Max was relinquished back to his original rescue. That 's when we were contacted and asked if we could help. Since Max was not getting the love and attention he needed in Texas we thought we could help find his forever family here in the Northeast.

It is hard to understand that he was found roaming - when he goes out in our fenced yard - he does not wander too far and does not try to escape -he just wants the attention of his humans - so our guess is that is what he was looking for.

This boy deserves a permanent place to call home where he will be loved as much as he will love. Max is neutered, up to date on vaccines, on monthly heartworm /flea/tick preventative, house trained and crate trained - If you would like an application or more information on him please email SHERRYL825@cox.net.
