Willie&Waylon Australian Shepherd Senior - Adoption, Rescue for sale in East Windsor, Connecticut

Hi there, pleased to meet you. Im Willie and this is my best brother, Waylon (thats Waylon in the black & tan coat!). We are two great country gentlemen with 8 years of experience as perfect house companions. Those eight years have taught us how to behave with all kinds of people and, of course, how to keep our living spaces clean, just like you humans like it. Plus, while we have Aussie blood, we dont feel a need to run around like those young whippersnappers do. We know how to saunter along at a civilized pace.

Our joint resume includes such highlights as medium-sized, medium length coat aussie mix doggos. We get along just fine with dogs, cats, and kids. We are both house and crate trained, love to chill in the car; well, we love to chill pretty much anywhere, so you can take us places! But you dont have to. Oh, Waylon says hes not super-fond of the toddler type humans, but hes content to just find a different room while theyre around. Me, Willie, I love the littles and the bigs.

Oh, you should know we like country music. This isnt a surprise since we do come from Nashville, but did you know we really appreciate helping our foster human as she practices her line dancing? No? Well we do. So, feel free to practice your dance moves, any dance moves; well be the best audience you ever had.

Please think about us. We are very bonded so we have to stay together. But were practically one dog in two bodies.

* BEHAVIOR DISCLAIMER: We do our best to provide accurate information, but adopters must understand that each home is different and the dog may behave differently in a new home. Dogs are creatures of their environment and you help make the dog what it will be. All dogs will require supervision with children, other dogs, and cats/other animals regardless of whether or not we have stated that the dog is friendly towards kids, cats, other dogs, etc. Slow introductions to other animals in the home, and allowing for them to have a separate space will make for better relationships in the future. Most dogs need an adjustment period when transitioning into a new home and there may be potty accidents, even if we have stated the dog is housebroken. All dogs should be somehow confined separately (crate or separate room) when left home alone until you can be sure the dog is trustworthy left loose. Separation anxiety can manifest if a dog is left alone more than it is used to in it's new home. This can be worked through and we are here to help. Please do not give up on your new dog without reaching out to us first!
